A Christian in Church, A Satan in Office

I would like to share a true and interesting story with you which happened recently to me… Well, I believe this story may sound a little bit harsh and hatred yet funny! Look at the title where I posted “A Christian in Church, A Satan in Office”. Sound interesting, isn’t? Want to know more? Let’s begin…

This story is about a guy who introduced himself as a True Christian, a friend of mine who is working with me for the upcoming third (3rd) year. One fine afternoon, I received a call in a sudden while I was working. Guess who? He is the one I am going to talk about. When I picked up my mobile phone, guess what… I didn’t have a single second wish “Hello” as he started to scold me without any reason where the mistake of an issue which was not belongs to me and yet he did not let me to have a single opportunity to explain but get scolded until he hung up the call. I kept questioning myself and my mind still wandering around… My God, what have I done?!

I believe that you would like to know what he blasted me, right? Well, we have to track back a period of six months ago. Our Malaysian government had announced each and every car which was produced in our country has to install the passengers’ seatbelts in order to decrease the volume of accidents every year. Hmmm… you must be wondering why I am telling you this. He has two cars which were manufactured without passengers’ seatbelts. In order not to get summons from the government authorities, he requested me to help him to book a date to get his cars installed with the seatbelts in one of the car manufacturers and I did that. After that, I had tried to contact him by informing him about the date, time and the venue to have his cars’ seatbelts installed. I tried numerous of times and ways to get him informed but failed. I tried to dial up his office number to let him know and yet failed. Then, I tried his mobile phone but FAILED AGAIN! Since there was no other ways to contact him, I gave up at last and yet I turned to seek one of his staffs to help me to inform him as soon as possible about the necessary information. His staff promised and willing to help me to get him informed. Unfortunately, his staff didn’t inform him.

Because of this matter, my friend called me, banged me with nobody business for not informing him and the WORST EVER part… he named me a “USELESS” guy. You may think that I will be very angry! Yes, I was. But with God’s grace, I finally calmed down within minutes. A very fine moment, our Great Father talked to me and I felt that He wanted me to learn a valuable lesson.

Each and every time if there is something happen, the first thing he will act is scold without listening to the explanation given. He will never calm down himself and give opportunities for others to explain. No doubt, he is a self-centered guy. With this type of attitude he has, his relationship with his own family is having a big gap in between. He used to throw chairs to his son whenever he got angry with his son and without taking up any explanations from his son. Poor little boy… The best part is he proudly telling me these incidents. As I know, none of his family members (including his wife) likes to communicate with him and this problem leads his family without having any communication with him. Not even a single word!

Most of the church members praised him because of his kindness and softness that he has. This is not true as he did not show his true colour to them yet. They believe each and every word he said about his family but they did not know the black part of him as he used to blame and scold his family without listening to their explanation. Worst part is some of them believe his words and blamed his family members for not listening to him and understand him. This matter caused all of his family members do not have any confidence and have the feeling of hatred towards him and slowly turns sour in Christianity. None of his family members eager to follow him to church and embrace Christianity because they thought that most of the Christians behave like that as their role model is having his unmannered attitude. Not only his family members having these thoughts and feelings towards him but his own staffs too!!! Surprisingly, they have told me before that they will NEVER EVER go to church for the rest of their lives because they have implemented their scary thoughts about Christianity. My goodness! Look, how serious the sin that he has!

He advised me to read bible every morning before stepping into the working field as he does that everyday but when I arrived at the office, he started to yelled and scolded his staffs without reasons. Believe me. I saw it in with my own eyes. I have seen the same thing tones of times as I always wonder what is the main purpose for him to read bible? Does he really apply what he had read? Does he really experience God?

I believe that there are lots of Christians may ask you these questions: “Do you study the bible?”; “What time do you study the bible?”; etc… But how many of them will ask: “What have you learnt and implemented from the bible?” and “Do you really experience the words of God?”. Well, I guess really rare and few of them will ask you with these two questions. The main thing is we have to behave and implement the sincere results which are true experiences into ourselves but not only words.

You may ask yourselves that are you one of them? A hypocrite and double-standard Christian – A Christian in Church and a Satan once you walked out from the church? If you really want to know the best result for yourselves, you may ask your family, friends and colleagues. Do ask them about the difference of the real you when you are in church and office. Compare the answers given by them and you will know the true answer in you whether you are a hypocrite and double-standard Christian. If you are a hypocrite and double-standard Christian, this shows that you are Christians in have only few hours but in a week, most of the time you are SATAN!!!

Well, as I write this story to share with you, it is not because I hate him for what he had done to but I would like to share with you how we should act as a True Christian and how huge is the sin we are going to gain if we apply the attitude of A hypocrite and double-standard Christian into ourselves and step far away from God. I admit that I was a Satan too sometimes and I will be. What I have learnt from my this lesson is, reading bible is really not enough, experience bible is the most important thing Christians should do, Amen!
