Grandmother cheated of RM20,000 in feng shui scam

After reading the article above this morning, I feel so sad to the grandmother. I am not so sure if the grandmother is a Christian but I am sure one thing that there are a lot of Christians do raise up a question – “Should or Shouldn’t Christians Believe in Feng Shui” to pastors.

Before we answering the question, we have to know what God is to you. Let say if you are sick, you go for a doctor. The doctor cured you and you are recovered. The question is, will you go for another doctor?? I bet you won’t because you believe in first doctor, you know he can help you.

In what situation you will go for the another doctor? When you don’t believe the first one, when the first one couldn’t help you. Which mean you have lost your confidence to the first doctor.

What about God? Bear in mind that, doctors are human too, they aren’t perfect. But God is 100%, definitely perfect. He never let me, you and any other Christians down. He never failed you, me and any other Christians. So, why some Christians still looking for Feng Shui when we have our Holy Father? Why Christians still looking for Feng Shui when we have God who promised us again, again and again in the bible will protect and always be with us? Why Chrsitians still looking for Feng Shui when we have the most powerful weapon from God which is prayer?

For those who looking for Feng Shui, the problem is not from God, the problem is from you. God never broken any promises, He never!!! But it is you lost faith to Him, it is you lost confidence to God. It is your problem that don’t believe and limit God’s power and looking for another source for protection.

God already told us in The Ten Commandments, book of Exodus, Chapter 20 verse 2 - 4 (English Standard Version):

I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.

³ “You shall have no other gods before me.

⁴ “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. ⁵ You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, ⁶ but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.

In book of Mark, Chapter 12, verse 29 – 30:

²⁹Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. ³⁰And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.

Always remember Christians, there is only one God in the world, don’t limit God’s power by yourselves.
