Stop Worrying and Start Living
Everyone worries. You worry, I worry and people all around you worry. We worry about everything, about our parents, about your spouse, about our children, about car installments, about our houses, about our money, about politics, about economics and the latest about H1N1.
The question is why do we worry about everything when we have God with us? Why do we worry about everything when God promised us He will provide all we need?? Why we still worry until we can’t sleep, until we can work, until we break down.
The charity Anxiety UK recently reported unprecendented demand for its services as a result of the economic downturn, with calls to its helpline doubling and email enquiries rising by 400 per cent. Another organisation has reported a massive rise in the number of Brits suffering from full-blown panic attacks and insomia.
In addition, the National Health Service has started running anxiety clinics in response to the recession. Anecdotal evidence suggests there clinics are attended mainly by men who have lost their jobs, and who find themselves unable to handle not only practicalities, but also the unexpected cocktail of feelings redundancy can trigger such as fear, guilt, shame, helplessness and hopelessness.
In order to solve the problem, we have to find out the root cause of the problem. Andy Stanley told us what is the root cause and what is the solution in these three videos.
