Christianity Q and A
Honor to God now is more interactive. We have decided to create a new category called “Christianity Q & A.
I believe there are a lot of questions about Christianity regardlesss you are a Christian or a non-Christian. We think that the category may needs a lot of time for us to commit, therefore we have decided to only answer two questions per day. We will keep increasing the limit from time to time.
At the beginning, we will create a subcategory for Christianity Q and A – Relationship with God. You can suggest us categories in the comment box of this topic. In order to ask us questions, please go to the related category.
Finally, I would like to tell that we are learning too. There are a lot of matured Christians than we are. We will try to answer your questions but if we can’t answer your questions, we will search the answers for you.

As we know, we all sinned and deserve God’s judgment. God, the Father, sent His only Son to satisfy that judgment for those who believe in Him. Jesus, the eternal Son of God, who lived a sinless life, loves us so much that He died for our sins, taking the punishment that we deserve, was buried, and rose from the dead according to the Bible.
Most of the Christians truly believe and trust this in their heart, receiving Jesus alone as your Savior, declaring, “Jesus is Lord,” they will be saved from judgment and spend eternity with God in heaven but I do have some queries about God.
1. Who is God? He has been described as everything from an impersonal life-force to a benevolent, personal, almighty Creator. He has been called by many names and “the Great Spirit”. He’s seen by some as “Mother Nature” and by others as “Father God.” But who is He really? Who does He claim to be?
1. If God created the world and everything else, who created God?
3. Why do we call God as our FATHER instead of MOTHER?

Good questions and let me answer one by one.
1) Who is God?
- God is the creator of the universe. God is the creator of every single human, He is the creator of you and me. According to Bible, He created the Sun, the Earth, water, animals, human, etc. (Genesis)
- God is Love and Justice. He loves all human but still He will judge us if human does something wrong.
2) If God created the world and everything else, who created God?
- When you asked “Who created God?”, you are making assumption that God was created. But God created time and space, He is outside of time and space. If God outside of time and space, He obviously was not created. God began the beginning! That is why He said that He is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. (Revelation)
3. Why do we call God as our FATHER instead of MOTHER?
Actually, God is spirit, He is not a Father or a Mother, a female or male. But the reason we called God father because this is what He calls Himself to Israel in the Bible and this is what Jesus Christ called Him “Abba”. Since the Bible is God’s words. We follow what God calls Himself.
