Organ Donation a Fift of Life
I read the news this morning while I was having my breakfast. I believe everyone should know about this.

Organ Pledgers from 1997 - June 2009
Even though organ pledgers already increased a lot but there are many patients on waiting list for organ donation. Lee (who is the Public Awareness for Organ Donation action committee chairman) said an organ pledger, despite having registered and given a card, was not necessarily an organ donor, as the pledger’s organs could not be removed without the family’s consent. So, make sure you tell your family.

Percentage Between Mena and Women Donor Pledgers
Since the committee was set up, the number of pledgers has increased from 2,568 in 1997 to 129,605 as of last month (June 2009).
Of the 129,605 organ pledgers, 53.97% are women and 45.32% men.
Most of the pledgers are those from the younger generation, with 35.5% comprising those aged between 21 and 30.
I have already become one of the organ donor pledgers. How about you?

Thanks! I wondered about this kind of stuff. You know like I am not wealthy by any means–yet I have bone marrow that could save another life etc etc.
Thanks for the info and God Bless you.
We don’t have to be wealthy in order to save life. I am not wealthy too. Jesus Christi wasn’t wealthy but He saved the world. Your heart is wealthy, Susan, much more better than many people.
