Yesterday, I talked to a new friend. She is from Malaysia, 22 years old, a Christian works in Seremban, Malaysia and……she is blind. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t against blind but what she told me yesterday is really worth to tell you all.
We talked about Christianity, how to spread gospel, how to help other people, children in Africa and World Vision. And I found out that she is actually one of the sponsors of World Vision Malaysia. She sponsors a child from Africa.
Even though she is blind but she has a job and income to not only support herself (she doesn’t want to depend on others) and also support those unfortunate children in Africa.
This was what she told me about sponsoring a child in Africa:”My eyes are blind but not my heart! A lot of people even their eyes are not blind but their hearts are blind. They keep busying with their daily works and ignore what happen around the world. Even they know the suffering of those children in Africa, they still keep busying but I am not!”.
After the conversation, I realized that although she is blind and not wealthy but she is much more stronger than a lot of people.
So, the question is – Your Eyes are Blind or Your Hearts are Blind?
Is an encouraging posting. If all the Christains in world comes together as one body of Christ. The people of the world will agree that Christainity is the way of life. Sadly many of them wants to go for personal fame and gain. Many of the non-christain expect Christain to be a Holy Person but many do the things same as non-christain do. Those with wolve skin really damage the image of the genuien Christain.
I am strongly agree that all the Churches must give a wake up sermon to make the congregation wake up from their sleep. Some of them been sleeping for too long.
For the kingdom of God is near, we must repent and be safe.
Very encouraging brother keep on posting.
God bless
Yes, agree! Currently, I am reading a book called unChristian. The book tells how Christians actually act as unChristian. When you reading the book, you will feel so sad. I will post the book on my blog once I have finished reading.
Rightly said, time is running out, Jesus Christ is coming back. We really don’t have much time to waste.
