Tithing
Tithing by Douglas Leblanc one of the book in The Ancient Practices Series. The book is how God actually take care of us and give us more then enough when we tithe. Through Malachi 3:10, God already told us that He will give us more then enough until we don’t have room enough for it.
I was looking for real life examples on tithing for long time. All the while, I don’t have faith in tithing. I just have less faith that God will take care of me when I tithe. But through the book, the author shows me a lot of real life examples on tithing. We we tithe, the blessings keep flowing in faster than we can bail them out again.
I love the second chapter which is “We live simply so that others may simply live”. All Christians should tithe in order to build God’s Kingdom and spread gospel. Churches need money for their missionaries. There are a lot of people still have no chance to listen to Gospel. We don’t have to be pastor in order to preach, we offer ourselves financially.
